1. General
1.1 These are the terms and conditions on which we supply goods to you, whether these are goods, services or digital content.
1.2 These Terms and Conditions will be deemed to have been accepted by you when you accept them or from the date of any applications you have submitted with us (whichever happens earlier) and will constitute the entire agreement between us and you.
1.3 Please read these terms carefully before you submit your application with us. They tell you who we are, how we will provide goods, what to do if there is a problem and other important information.
2. Information about us and how to contact us
2.1 Eat or Heat is part of C Supplies Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. Our company registration number is 08861810 and our registered office is at 5 Trent Court, Dorset DT9 4AY.
2.2 You can contact us via email at eatorheat@csupplies.co.uk
2.3 If we have to contact you, we will do so by telephone or by writing to you at the email address or postal address provided to us in the application form.
2.4 When we use the words “writing” or “written” in these terms, this includes emails.
3. Information about the Eat or Heat campaign and donations
3.1 Eat or Heat is a campaign created by C Supplies Ltd, with support from the Teaching Staff Trust charity.
3.2 The Eat or Heat fund is open to our charity partners that have registered with us, and they can apply for a £25 food or energy voucher on behalf of their beneficiaries that meet the Eligibility criteria:
- Employment and Support Allowance
- Income-based Jobseekers Allowance
- Income Support
- Pension Guarantee Credit
- Child Tax Credit/Working Tax Credit
- Universal Credit
- Housing Benefit
OR
- Total Annual Household income less than £16,000
3.3 The Eat or Heat fund relies on donations, and C Supplies reserves the right to open and close the fund based on available donations and funding. Eat or Heat will continue to help people in need for as long as the campaign is supported by donations.
3.4. The amount in the fund will be made up of donations received and funds donated by C Supplies, as a percentage of monthly sales.
3.5 Anyone can donate to the fund via our Just Giving page.
3.6 The timing of the opening and closing of the Fund will be detailed on the APPLY page of the Eat or Heat website. It will display one of these messages:

FUND CURRENTLY CLOSED – PLEASE CHECK LATER or GET IN TOUCH FOR MORE INFO
3.7 We reserve the right to limit the number of applications per registered charity within a set amount of time. This might be because of unexpected limits on our resources which we cannot reasonably plan for / have full control of, because we have identified an error, or because we are unable to fulfil all applications due to high demand.
3.8 All decisions regarding the campaign are taken by C Supplies Ltd and are final.
4. Registration and Submitting applications
4.1 The Eat or Heat fund is open to our charity partners and grant-giving organisations that have registered with us. If you are charity or grant-giving organisation who would like to partner with us, please get in touch with our team at eatorheat@csupplies.co.uk to find out how you can register.
4.2 If you have an account with us, you will need to log in and complete a simple application form and submit your applications for your beneficiaries.
4.3 When you submit an application, please ensure the beneficiary’s details are filled in correctly. Once submitted, a confirmation message will be displayed. If there are any errors on your application, you must inform us as soon as possible.
4.4 All applications submitted are subject to approval. All details supplied to us in the application form must be true and accurate. If there are any problems with your applications, we will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible.
4.5 We will process your requests in accordance with our terms and conditions and once approved, we will send the voucher directly to your beneficiary – either by email or SMS.
4.6 If you wish to make a change to your application, please contact us immediately or within 24 hours of placing it. We will let you know if this is possible. If it is possible, we will let you know about any changes would be necessary as a result of your requested change and ask you to confirm whether you wish to go ahead.
5. E-vouchers processing
5.1 Pease note that the Food e-vouchers will be sent to recipient’s email address, while the Energy credit vouchers will be sent via SMS to recipient’s mobile number. Please ensure the beneficiary’s details are filled in correctly.
5.2 If an email or text voucher is processed and received to an active email account / mobile number, which has been provided incorrectly on your application, and the voucher has been activated, we are not liable to replace these funds as the order has been completed based on the information provided. If the e-voucher has not been redeemed yet, the Eat or Heat team will try to cancel it and resend it to the updated email / mobile number. This may not be possible and all decisions made by the Eat or Heat team are final.
5.3 Each e-voucher comes with instructions and an expiration date which need to be checked once received. We are unable to extend a voucher validity period, or re-activate them once expired.
5.4 Please note the Energy credit vouchers can be used for either:
a) Topping up the key meter / card meter
b) as a payment toward an energy bill (provided that the invoice/ bill contains a barcode for over-the-counter payments)
PLEASE NOTE THIS VOUCHER DOES NOT SUPPORT BRITISH GAS.
5.5 If the beneficiary experiences issues with redeeming their voucher we would ask if you they contact us via email at eatorheat@csupplies.co.uk with their Name, Full Address, email address / mobile phone number where the voucher has been sent to.
6. Circumstances beyond the control of either party
Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations where such failure or delay results from any cause that is beyond the reasonable control of that party. Such causes include but are not limited to: power failure, internet service provider failure, industrial action, civil unrest, fire, flood, storms, earthquakes, acts of terrorism, acts of war, governmental action or any other event that is beyond the control of the party in question.
All decisions by C Supplies, relating to the Eat or Heat Campaign, are final.
